Location

Vancouver Water Ski Club, Bedwell Bay. Guests can park in Deep Cove for pickup at the government Dock at the foot of Gallant Avenue. See Google Maps for directions.

Parking

Parking is available all along Rockcliff Road, and in the parking lot at the corner of Rockcliff Road and Banbury Road. For those that might stay overnight, be aware that there is no overnight parking in the parking lot, but you may park overnight on Rockcliff Road.

Transportation to Site

Free barge pickup/dropoff between the Deep Cove Government dock and VWSC according to the following schedule. Note that this is subject to change.

Maximum Number of Entrants

A maximum of 65 riders can be accommodated. Register early to guarantee your entry. $10 off if you register online by July 15.

On Site Check-In

On Site check-in begins Friday July 30, at 4:00pm. Riders may also check in Saturday from 8:00am onward prior to their event. Biography forms and signed waivers must be submitted during check-in, in addition to payment of any outstanding fees. On site check-in is manadatory to complete your registration.

Heats

Tournament officials reserve the right to determine whether heats will be run based on total numbers in a division and available time. If heats are required, they will follow WWA Rule Book guidelines.

Divisions

The following divisions and order will be used, but are subject to change.  Divisions may be added or combined depending on number of participants. Each division should have a semi-final ride on Saturday and final ride on Sunday, unless numbers require heats.

If time and conditions permit, juniors will have their second ride Saturday afternoon.

Ages for divisions are as of Jan 1, 2010.

Tournament Ropes and Handles

Riders should provide their own ropes and handles. Alternatively, a boat rope and handle may be provided.

Food and Banquet

Hamburgers, hot dogs, drinks etc will be available for purchase during the event. We will be having a buffet dinner on Saturday evening, at $20 per person including non-alcoholic drinks. Wine and beer will be available for purchase. There will be no bank or ATM machines on site so please plan ahead.

On Site Entertainment

A quarter pipe skateboard ramp will be available, as well as Rock Band and additional games. DJ music will be provided during the event.

Accommodation

Overnight accommodation will be available at our site for those that need it. Bring your own sleeping bag and pillow. Space inside clubhouse is limited and priority given to club members and officials. Tents can be pitched on our deck..
